- Strategy Internship -
Smart Design is a strategic design consultancy located in New York City that is extremely devoted to creating products to help people live a better life. The user is always at the center of every problem to be solved . At Smart, teams of cross-disciplinary thinkers, makers and doers work collaboratively on projects from their inception to create products people will love. I was lucky enough to be heavily involved as a strategist on two client facing projects that involved discussing proposals, recruiting research participants, qualitative research, quantitative data. Due to confidentiality, I am unable to share content from Smart Design
Project 1
On Project 1 I was part of a cross discipline team researching a medical procedure. I was involved in:
- Background research to understand complex medical procedure
- Qualitative research with medical professionals
- Quantitative research to gather data
- Client workshops and brainstorm sessions
Project 2
Project 2 is a consumer product where I was the strategic lead. On this project I was the strategic lead responsible for:
- Recruiting research participants based on client criteria
- Creating discussion guides for qualitative research that included stimuli and activities
- Qualitative research that took place in the field and in office
- Research synthesis and gathering research insights to implement into design direction.
